Management Board and Business Units

At the top of the Bahlsen Group is the management board, comprising Philip Rumbol (CEO), Jonathan Duffin (Chief Commercial Officer) and Cornelia Kaufmann (Chief Culture Officer). The board establishes the company strategy and monitors its implementation. It lays down the guidelines and standards for the whole Bahlsen Group and controls the business units. Bahlsen has Business Units in the regions:

Phil Rumbol has been CEO at Bahlsen since April 2020. The Brit brings over 30 years of experience in transformation and brand development with companies such as brewery giant InBev, Cadbury, Heineken and Kraft. Before joining Bahlsen, he was a partner at the brand agency MullenLowe in London. At Bahlsen, Phil Rumbol is responsible for Group Brands & Insights, Group R&D, Group Portfolio Development, Group Quality Management, Group Strategy Development, Group Human Resources and Group Communication.

Jonathan Duffin started his career at Bahlsen UK in October 2013 as a Marketing Director. In 2015, he was promoted to General Manager UK & Ireland. Since the beginning of 2021 he has been a member of the Management Board. As Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), he is responsible for UK & Ireland, America, APAC, CEE, Western Europe and the MEA region. He is also in charge of Group Sales and Procurement.
