Your tasks

  • Support the Head of Finance Business Partnering for the respective Commercial Unit in all financial matters related to operations in Belgium and Luxembourg.
  • Act as a trusted sparring partner to local Sales and Marketing teams by delivering well-founded financial analyses and actionable recommendations.
  • Key role in the preparation of forecasts, reports, plans and scenarios for the sound management of the business units.
  • Preparation of reporting and business analyses to support the management.
  • Independent identification of financial challenges and active participation in the development of practical solutions.
  • Support the implementation of Group-wide financial projects and collaborate with external partners, including auditors and consultants.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with internal departments such as Finance Pooled Services, FP&A, and Finance & Taxation.
  • Conduct reporting analyses, assess financial opportunities and risks and support the development of reporting tools.
  • Monitor the financial performance of the Commercial Unit, identify variances against forecasts/plans and support gross margin improvement through navigating pricing strategies, portfolio optimization, and efficient promotional activities.

Your profile

  • Degree in business administration, ideally with a focus on finance, controlling or a comparable qualification.
  • First practical experience in finance, ideally in an international or FMCG environment.
  • Analytical thinking, strong business acumen and a good understanding of financial relationships, processes and planning tools.
  • Confident handling of MS Office or Google Workspace; Initial experience with SAP S/4HANA and BI tools an advantage.
  • Strong communication & presentation skills and the ability to prepare financial content in a way that is appropriate for the target audience and convey it convincingly.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented way of working with a "can-do" mentality, team spirit and the ambition to advance even complex topics in the interests of the company as a whole.
  • Very good written and spoken English and Dutch skills are required; knowledge of French is an advantage.
