Our approach

Bahlsen means sweet snacking moments. The transparency of nutritional values and ingredients is very important to us: it is the only way our customers can make a conscious choice when it comes to snacking. We are constantly thinking outside the box to expand our range with nutritionally optimized products.

What have we achieved so far?

  • Sugar reduction of 10 percent in Leibniz ZOO Original, Spelt and Oat and Gluten-free.
  • Rawbite became a part of the Bahlsen Group in 2016, by this we are expanding our range to include organic vegan fruit and nut bars with only natural fruit sugars. The bars are also gluten- and lactose-free.

Where do we go from here?

We are currently analyzing our status quo regarding health and nutition at Bahlsen. This analysis will help us to identify potential for improve­ment and concrete measures.
